26pp. This number festooned with photos: 36 images 1.8" square on six pages and a larger shot of the gut of Little Bras d'Or at sunset on page 1. Text is a series of bon mots, anecdotes and brief essays: travel on Cape Breton, "Poetry", "n being a grandfather"`, "Persian Curios", &c. Photos of Nova Scotia scenes, groups of people and antiquities: Cape Blomidon, Cape Split, Kejimkujic, Fairy lake, Maitland Falls, and many around Paradise & Pansy Patch, including the golf links and a wheel of Sicilian monastery bells "to call the caddies". No marks or inscriptions.

38pp. plus further six pp. photos and diagrams. Short essays and anecdotes; this number particularly focused on the Mountain Lake community of Florida and Bliss Carman. Illustrated with 14 photos 1.8" square of Mountain Lake personalities, as well as the Mountain Lake Ex Libris bookplate, the Early Building of the Mt. Lake Club House. Sketches by WIM throughout; portraits of Carlyle by W. Greaves and of Carman in the WIM collection. 22 letters of Bliss Carman to Herbert Small (of 50 purchased by WIM late 1941) transcribed.. List of recipients of The Chronicle "as per acknowledgements in November 1941" and excerpts from recipients. List of guests at the Mountain Lake Club for the 1942 Spring Season; and a list of widows there: 1941-42. Former owner's neat signature dated 1980 to front endpapers. Spine and half-inch strip along top of front sunned. Backstrip of spine separated for two inches along rear gutter and 1 inch along front gutter.

25pp. Edition limited to 125 copies, stated on p. 25. Short essays and anecdotes, in this number particularly focused on the Mountain Lake community of Florida including a page on the Seminoles, a list of property owners at Mt. Lake and their respective hobbies, e.g. "golf, cards, cigars and croquet." Illustrated with 21 photos 1.8" square of the region (incl. Boca Raton), numerous local personalities, two horses and a Seminole girl. As well, a 3-page article on dynamite "by a Mountain Laker" and a hitherto unknown and unpublished autograph letter of I. Kant to A.G. Kastner in English translation. In 1917 at Pansy Patch, his estate in Paradise Nova Scotia, Dr. Morse by his own admission had "began a crude golf course." The Mountain Lake community, founded 1915, had by 1916 a course designed by Seth Raynor.

Morse published The Chronicle from 1906, but this #211 from 1931 is the earliest issue we have seen; title page has notice: "211th issue (1905-1931)". Series of short articles, anecdotes and reflections: concerning architecture, travel in Europe - especially Italy, letter from friend at Mountain lake Club Florida, &c. As well, 41 photographs 2 inches square taken by WIM: skiing in Switzerland and Italian scenes. Excellent condition.

Inscribed by Morse on front endpaper, dated 30 May, 1947 and numbered 41 [of edition limited to 100, so stated on cover].

Short essays and anecdotes; in this number: a visit to the newly constructed Port Royal Habitation at Lower Granville Nova Scotia, reviews of Morse publications, a week`s visit in Old Lyme Connecticut at the Hilles family estate, notes on collecting Bliss Carman rarities, a 2-page letter from bookbinder Douglas Cockerell, &c. Embellished with 75 photographs (smallest are 6 to a page). Photos of: pansies, Bilss Carman, Lower Granville Habitation, Pansy Patch Golf Links, Cockerell`s workshop, Whistletop : Old Lyme, numerous personalities, &c. Inscribed by the editor to Louise, 27 Nov. 1940, and then to Barbara from Louise 1989 on front endpaper. Titles to front and spine. Spine sunned, chipped at head and splitting along hinges but fully secure. Clean and unmarked.
