30 pages (unpaginated). Dust jacket chipped around extremities; boards foxed; smudge to title page and "Tony goes to sleep" last 2 pages. Else clean, crisp, with brilliant color, and no inscriptions. Binding is sound. Scarce early work of Bertail and MacKnight. Lovely illustrations, alternating black & white / color each set of pages. Front flap indicates the novelty, 70 years ago, of this sort of book: "At last the very youngest children have a book written just for them".
