144 pages, with folding map at rear. Top edge damp-stained, resulting in wave and, at some point, small areas of pages being lightly stuck together. All leaves are now separate, with some showing abrasion from having been stuck to the adjacent leaf. This is along the upper margin, relatively unobtrusive, and does not affect any text. In one instance (lower centre page 19/20) there is a 1 inch closed tear running through text. Binding is sound. Profusely illustrated with photographs.
