vii, [2], 128 pages. Cloth spine over marbled boards. An exceptionally uncommon (and adventurous) effort. Worldcat records only a few surviving copies. Complete with chronological and genealogical tables, book-by-book synopses, and, at rear, a 9 page "synopsis of history (sacred and profane) from the Deluge to the Birth of Christ". The author's name does not appear on the title page; concluding the 7 page preface is: Geo. Manley / Maquetra, Boulogne-sur-mer, January 1842. A little staining to front pastedown and title page, pages 72-82 foxed, else a clean interior. Recto of last page lists errata. Signature of Mary M. Shaw / Lake side on rear pastedown dated Dec. 8 [18]82. Old bookseller's / binder's ticket to top left front pastedown: Leteurtre / libraire releur / haut-ville, Boulogne. No endpapers present. Binding is sturdy and hinges sound, with no loose pages.
