The Amherst College class of 1910 Freshman Banquet memento from the evening of 8 December 1906 at America House, Boston. Six leaves; full leather cover with original cord binding. Gilded barrel with cup embossed to verso of first leaf, facing tipped-in photo of 40 or so lads informally posed and looking hungry. "Menu", "Toasts", "Committee" and "Autographs" embossed and gilded. Printed by E. A. Wright of Philadelphia. 80 or so hand-signed autographs, with the signature of Louis J. Heath to front. From the estate of Heath who matriculated in '06, graduated 1910, went on to complete a Masters at Harvard and become a well respected journalist in Washington and in Central and South America.
